Privacy Policy
This policy explains the personal information Bayora Stays handles when you send a booking enquiry or complete a booking, why we need it, and the choices you have. We ask for only what a booking needs.
Website contact attribution
Subject to the same regional consent choice, Bayora remembers a random visitor reference and first/last traffic sources in first-party browser storage for up to seven days. Clicking WhatsApp or Call can save a contact reference, time, public page paths, campaign tags and eligible advertising click identifiers in Bayora's database. The contact record does not contain your phone number, email, message or raw IP address. A reference is appended to the WhatsApp message so staff can look up its website source. A click is not proof that a message or call was completed. Contact still works if you reject optional measurement or recording fails.
Information we collect
When you send a booking request we collect your name, phone number, and — if you provide it — your email address, along with the stay you are asking about: the apartment or location, your dates, and the number of guests. You may also tell us a preferred contact method, a preferred payment method, a company name for a corporate stay, and an optional message.
When you pay by manual transfer, we collect the sending account identifier you type in and the payment screenshot you upload, so an operator can match your transfer to your booking.
We record basic technical details a booking needs to work — the page a request came from and any campaign parameters in the link you followed — and the time you submitted the request.
We do not ask for or store identity or passport documents through this website. Where identification is needed for a stay, the Bayora team may request it separately, usually over WhatsApp, as part of check-in — see the note below.
Why we use it
To arrange and fulfil your booking: to confirm availability and price, to hold your dates, and to keep you updated.
To verify payment: an operator checks the transfer you claim against the account before a booking is treated as paid.
To support you before, during and after your stay, and to answer questions you send us.
To protect guests and the business against fraud and misuse, and to meet accounting, tax and other legal or operational obligations.
Who can see it
Your information is used by the Bayora Stays team to run your booking. It is not sold, and it is not shared for anyone else's advertising.
We rely on a small number of service providers to operate the site: our hosting and database provider stores the booking and payment-proof records, and a messaging channel (WhatsApp) is used where you choose to contact us that way. These providers process information on our behalf to deliver the service.
Website analytics status
Bayora uses Google Tag Manager to manage tags and uses Google Analytics. Google advertising technologies may also be used to understand visits, measure campaigns, and support relevant advertising.
In regions where Bayora presents a consent choice, optional analytics and advertising technologies remain disabled until you accept. You can reject them and, after making a choice, reopen Cookie settings in the footer to change or revoke it. Where that regional choice is not presented, these technologies may operate according to Bayora's regional measurement policy.
Bayora does not intentionally send names, email addresses, phone numbers, booking or payment tokens, payment-proof details, bank identifiers, private addresses, coordinates, or settlement notes through normal analytics events. Where the applicable Google consent permits it, the email address and phone number already supplied for a genuine booking request may be normalized and securely hashed for Google's dedicated Enhanced Conversions matching path; they are not added to ordinary analytics event parameters. This is Bayora's technical consent implementation and is not a substitute for jurisdiction-specific legal advice.
How it is kept
Booking and payment records are held in our secured database, and payment screenshots in a private storage area that is not publicly reachable. Access is limited to the Bayora team.
We keep information only as long as is reasonably necessary for the booking, our operations, accounting, resolving any dispute, security, and any legal obligation that applies — and no longer than that. Some records must be kept for a period the law requires even after a stay ends.
Identity documents
Some stays require you to show identification at check-in. When that applies, the Bayora team asks for it separately — normally through WhatsApp — as part of the check-in and documentation process. It is not uploaded through this website and is not part of the booking form.
Your choices and contact
If you want to ask what information we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, contact the Bayora team using the details on the Contact page. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law (Law 151 of 2020) governs personal data handled in Egypt, and this policy is written with that in mind.
